Blow to Benzema 🥲

Real Madrid completed a new day of work in Los Angeles on Monday, before facing Mexico’s Club America, in a new pre-season friendly.

The training session started with great rhythm and intensity by some players who want to get in good physical shape as soon as possible, before the European Super Cup match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, not all was well for Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid, as the names of Dani Carvajal, Karim Benzema and Ferland Mendy left more than one concern.

Carvajal did not train with the group on Monday, something that continues to attract attention, as the Spain international full-back continues to be treated for ankle problems, after receiving a heavy blow last Thursday, which kept him away from the Clasico in Las Vegas.

Karim Benzema, for his part, received a heavy blow to the right ankle from Vinicius Tobias during the division and had to be treated by doctors on two different occasions. He completed the training, but did so between gestures of discomfort.

The captain of the first team, who would have witnessed his first minutes against Mexico’s Club America, will have to wait until tomorrow to confirm or rule out his participation in the match, although at the moment it appears that he will play without problems. Only he got scared after the hit, which is something that Carlo Ancelotti especially comforts.

Another name that worries the coaching staff is Ferland Mindy, who was also unable to finish today’s training session at UCLA facilities.

The 27-year-old defender is still suffering from physical problems since the start of the preparatory season, which is causing serious headaches for him and Carlo Ancelotti.
