Ancelotti sends a warning message to PSG: “We will not play alone”

Carlo Ancelotti started to stir up the spirits for Wednesday’s rematch. The Italian coach encouraged Real Madrid, two days before the battle against Paris Saint-Germain, and sent a strong message to the French: “We will not play alone.”

The Real Madrid coach was the first to encourage the fans and clearly focused on the message conveyed by the players after sweeping Real Sociedad: “Yes, we can.”

Real Madrid watched how their first-team players returned to the pitch after trailing a goal and won 4-1 on Saturday. Image was the beginning of a long-awaited comeback. Ancelotti, today appeared in the club’s official media to repeat the same message.

Ancelotti said: “I know the Bernabeu perfectly and that motivates us even more. We know very well that we will not play this match alone because all Real Madrid will be behind us to support us and that makes us stronger.”

Ancelotti added: “These are days of preparation. Everyone is excited and obviously it is important for the coach to calm the mood so that she is not too nervous.”

The Real Madrid coach explained the state of mind of the players, saying: “These players are used to this type of game. We came out of the match against Real Sociedad strongly before the Champions League battle against Paris Saint-Germain.”

Real Madrid come from a 1-0 loss in Paris with the two-goal away goal rule abolished. A score of 1-0 will lead the match to extra time, such as 2-1, 3-2 or any result in favor of the madridistas with a goal difference. Any win by more than one goal difference gives the white team a direct qualification.
