Karim Benzema mocked former Manchester City player Micah Richards mercilessly and claimed he did not know him. The former Sky Blues player made major criticisms of the Real Madrid striker earlier in the season.
Benzema played the starring role with Real Madrid this season, and led his team to the Champions League final with his impressive performances against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City.
But Micah Richards has only been convinced by the 34-year-old’s performance over the “past six months”, a claim that stunned Thierry Henry.
A CBS reporter, at the Champions League final stadium, asked Karim Benzema about Micah Richards, who has been criticizing him since the start of the season. His response was wonderful.
The reporter began his question to Benzema by saying: “Karim, do you know who Micah Richards is?”
Benzema replies: “Who is he?”
Reporter: “The former Manchester City player who used to criticize you, but now he doesn’t.”
Benzema: “I don’t know who he is. Send him my love.”
Henry, who works alongside Richards for CBS Sports, produced an invaluable reaction to Benzema’s answer and said “that’s cool,” while Jamie Carragher laughs.

Richards’ claim came after Benzema scored a stunning hat-trick against Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the competition: “But now he has convinced me.”
Henry entered, “Just now?”
Richards replied: “Recently, in the past six months. I’m convinced he’s there with Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.”
Henry, still in shock, added: “Wow. Only tonight?!” “The last six months,” Richards replied.
