Benzema refuses to attend the press conference before UCL final

Real Madrid is in Paris to play the Champions League final. Ancelotti’s team will visit the pitch this afternoon for the last training session on the field at 7:30 pm. Before the start of training, Ancelotti and another player were called at 6:45 pm for the pre-match press conference.

What is required to attend the conference is Ancelotti and a player from the team and UEFA who was determined to be Karim Benzema, the hero and maker of most goals this season for Real Madrid to be in the final.

But in the end, the French striker asked the club not to attend the press conference before the final due to superstition. Something the club understood and agreed to the request for the Frenchman.

A fairy tale originated in Paris. According to Radio Adina Cope’s Miguel Angel Diaz, Benzema asked not to attend the conference because on February 14, when he appeared in the press conference in the first leg of the Round of 16, Real Madrid lost to Paris Saint-Germain.

Being the city itself, Karim preferred not to go out to the press conference. Something that might be purely a coincidence, something Karim prefers not to do and thus avoids the press conference.

At the moment, it is not known which player will be out with Carlo Ancelotti for the press conference. But, according to “tradition”, he should be a regular fixture in the final.
