Real Madrid sign Herrero from Eintracht Frankfurt

Real Madrid continues to search for talent from inside and outside Spain. The latest signing in this regard is Spanish striker Enrique Herrero (16 years old), who was a player at German club Eintracht Frankfurt until Friday, the team that beat Real Madrid last year in this age group.

The boy signed his new professional contract this morning at Valdebebas, although he will not yet be able to make his debut with Juvenil A, Real Madrid’s academy team, until he gets the approval of the FIFA committee.

Herrero is a striker full of skill and he stood out at Villarreal until last summer, after his relationship with the yellow team ended, he launched himself in the market and both Real Madrid and Barcelona were very interested in him. Finally Eintracht was his signature winner as he was offered an ambitious sporting project with chances of him joining the first team.

However, after eight months, the young striker wanted to return to Spain and Madrid.

At the moment and until he receives the green light from FIFA because it is a transfer between different national federations, Herrero will only be able to train with the Real Madrid youth team and may not be able to wear the white shirt in an official match until next season.

However, Real Madrid is not worried because it is a strict adherence to one of the most prominent players of the 2005 generation in our football who is usually in the plans of the lower categories of the Spanish national team.
