Jose Mourinho qualified for the European Conference League final with Roma against Dutch club Feyenoord. The Portuguese returns to a European final again and does so with Roma, who has not played a final in a continental competition in 31 years.
Before the final whistle of the match between Rome and Leicester City, which ended with the Italian team winning with a clean goal, Mourinho entered into a fit of tears affected by the victory and qualification for the European Championship final being held for the first time.

The Portuguese coach spoke to “Dazn” channel after the match and wanted to send a message to Real Madrid and Ancelotti, who will play the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 28 in Paris.
Real Madrid had qualified for the Champions League final after an epic victory over Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu with three goals to one. Until the 89th minute, City were ahead with a clean goal and minutes from the final, but Rodrygo’s deadly double in two minutes brought Merengue back to the match that Benzema decided with a penalty kick in the first overtime.
Mourinho said: “Yesterday I spoke with Ancelotti. Real Madrid is in my heart, I’m white, white, white, it’s the biggest club in the world. I am a close friend of Carlo, I know he is happy for Roma and his teammate Jose. We’ll see if these two young coaches (meaning himself and Ancelotti) win their finals…laughs.”

The Portuguese was Real Madrid’s coach from 2010 to 2013 and left a deep imprint, through thick and thin, at the Whites’ club where he still has a lot of followers. His name appeared on more than one occasion to return to the white seat. It was Ancelotti who replaced him at Real Madrid when he left.
