Manchester City loses three of its most prominent players against Real madrid in the Champions League semi-final

Real Madrid sat quietly on the sofa as Atletico Madrid and Manchester City competed for a place in the semi-finals, which will determine who will be their opponents in the next round.

Manchester City qualified with Guardiola, but some important pieces of the Spanish coach’s formation could miss the semi-final first leg match, at the Etihad Stadium, in two weeks.

The player whose absence has been confirmed is Joao Cancelo, who saw the yellow card against Atletico Madrid and will be suspended for the first leg against Real Madrid in Manchester. He is an important player in Pep’s squad, who will have to make up for his loss to face Ancelotti’s men.

And Cancelo may not be the only loss, because Kevin De Bruyne left the field injured in the 65th minute. The Belgian left his place for Raheem Sterling after he gestured to his teammates on the bench indicating that his injury was not minor.

Kyle Walker also had to leave early, as he injured his ankle in an accidental act and had to leave after a few minutes because he was unable to continue on the field. Both are in doubt in the match against Real Madrid, which will take place on April 26 or 27, in just two weeks.
