Courtois sends a stern warning to his Real Madrid teammates: “They will punish us”

Thibaut Courtois was instrumental in Real Madrid’s difficult 2-1 away win over Celta Vigo and put in another impressive performance to help Los Blancos secure the three points.

The Belgian goalkeeper saved two big chances in the first half to deny Denis Suarez the lead and Iago Aspas from a free kick after Real Madrid advanced.

“We suffered, all the matches I played in Vigo were very difficult,” Courtois told Movistar. I don’t know if we deserved to win because I saved twice in the first half.”

Courtois also stressed that Real Madrid tend to lack sharpness at times during the match and warned that Chelsea could punish them at Stamford Bridge.
