Mbappe deals a new slap to Paris Saint Germain

Kylian Mbappe refuses the request of the owners of Paris Saint-Germain, as the French winger dealt a new blow related to the celebration of the World Cup draw for Qatar on Friday in Doha.

Kylian Mbappe was one of those whom FIFA and the Organizing Committee wanted to take part in the draw at the Doha Convention and Exhibition Centre. However, according to L’Equipe, the footballer’s response was clear: No.

Mbappe is one of the rising stars of world football, but he said he’s not even the captain of the France national team and that it makes sense that Hugo Lloris, not him, would represent France. For this reason, he declined the invitation.

This decision by Mbappe regarding Qatar – and thus PSG – comes with his future still in the air and many doubts about his continuity at Paris. The relationship between him and Al-Khelaifi is not going through its best moments. He turned down huge offers that the Paris club were repeatedly throwing at him.

Killian feels no moral obligation to obey the Qataris. On June 30, he can wear another team’s shirt knowing that only he will choose his fate. As is the case with the World Cup draw, which will not host it despite FIFA’s efforts to attend it.
