Last Monday, Marca newspaper published the extent of Real Madrid’s annoyance at putting its name in fake deals in order to raise its value in the market. In the offices of Valdebebas, headed by Florentino Pérez, they described the reports as hoaxes. This Sunday, less than a week after Marca newspaper shed light on the matter, new speculation surfaced.
Various international media reported that Real Madrid is negotiating with three players from other teams. They were deliberately placed in the orbit of the White Club. The first is Timo Werner, whose future is going through a delicate moment at Chelsea.
After Marca newspaper searched for the validity of this claim, sources familiar with the situation recently admitted that the signing of the German striker for the Champions League champion is not possible. Those same sources were quite optimistic today about the striker’s return to RB Leipzig, something Florian Plettenberg confirmed on Sky Sports.
After Werner, it was the turn of Fabian Ruiz. The Napoli midfielder, who has been highly regarded by the White Club’s sporting directors for several seasons and has been liking to Ancelotti, will terminate his contract with the Italian club in 2023. However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are close to signing him with the effort of Luis Campos who fully supports him.
And at noon there was a third denial of more of those rumours: Nice boss Jean-Pierre Riviere confirmed that no one from Real Madrid had contacted them to sign Amine Gouiri.
The French striker, like many other players, there are reports that put him in the orbit of Real Madrid, but they are only allegations. At the riyal offices the focus is now on exits, not new deals.
